In 2023, the Latecoere group announced the filing of 15 new patent applications with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), demonstrating its active contribution to innovation in France, particularly in the Occitanie region.
These patent applications are spread across the group’s two key areas of expertise: aerostructures (including the development of composites) and interconnection systems (including new data transmission technologies). These innovation efforts aim to provide viable and competitive solutions to aircraft manufacturers in the race towards sustainable aviation—a major challenge that involves the entire aerospace industry.
To better address these challenges, Latecoere has brought together its innovation teams at its new headquarters in Toulouse since 2021 and inaugurated a Composite Development Center at its Toulouse-Montredon site in 2023.
